Are You Blogging Correctly for Online Promotion & ORM?

Do you dream to become a millionaire overnight through blogging? It’s true that with blogging, you can touch the pinnacle of online reputation. And once your goodwill comes in place, your popularity will be irresistible. The online audience will deem you no less than a brand.

But if you look at the reverse side of the same dream, the blogging can prove a nightmare. Your dreams to drench in the lake of millions of bucks can be futile. You go banana in the passion of winning a huge audience amid 966 million websites. But not a single cent comes to your pocket. Are all claims fake that say that content is money?

What’s the reason? Don’t your words have influential power? Are your out-of-the-box thoughts falling flat like a bouncer?  Or perhaps you turned a blind eye to engagement metric. With a few blogs and articles in your digital marketing blog, you can’t premeditate that the audience will be all your for good.

The reason can be any of the aforementioned ones. So, what you need to do? Should you give up? Or, should you own up to your mistakes?

1. Focusing too much on content?

When I started writing, I used to pick up the toughest of the words. It’s just because I intended to be the best and acknowledged writer. But time and experience taught me that complex vocab receives no end readers. Eventually, the blog or article caught up trivial online traffic. But the golden rule of SEO emphasizes over “the more you are readable the more you would be visible.”

You have flair & punch. You have the power to write that is the sharpest of all swords. Rather than stressing on the selection of tough dictions, pick up the dialects-the words that are used in a particular region. Say no to ‘Jargons’ and ‘slangs’. If you are using them sparingly, then it’s ok. But on regular basis, their doses can be indigestible to your target audience. Stop thinking blogging as a jackpot.

Various online or youtube channels claim that beginning with blogsphere can turn you a millionaire. But it’s a myth. Just blogs are not enough. The pieces of writing should come naturally & impeccably for online reputation building. If you are newbie to the digital marketing, then divert your focus from content to promotions. Yes, you get it right! Stretch your blog promotions to social media, like Twitter, FB, Tumblr, and so on.

2. Do you have huge target audience?

As I told above, share your writing chunks at social media platform. But what if they remain unnoticed? Despite sharing on multiple social media platforms and choosing the right seo package for search engine promotions, you have mediocre traffic. No attention can leave you heart-broken. Don’t give up even then! Rather than hard work, smart work is required from your side.

Begin with the inspection of your target audience.  Is it perfect to cater your blogs? Is it corresponding to your niche?  Niche is the very domain wherein you have expertise. Suppose you have an insurance company. Your niche would be banking and insurance. In such domain, no students’ group would be interested. So, check your niche first. Join as many identical groups as you can.

Niche will allow you to enter the zone where thousands to millions of admirers would be waiting eagerly for every update from your side. So, connect with them.  Their appreciation would take you to the summit of success.

3. Are you catering right content?

Copying the thoughts & expecting huge success would be no less than a fool’s paradise. What you are doing-IMITATION. Don’t do that. Repetitive thought in blogs is not the cup of tea of audience. Figure out what they like. Attend the habits and comments of the group and target audience. Filter their pain points; the latest trend or trending technology; future trend and the news relating to your niche. Spin the content with the dash of freshness. Keep it generic. The explosive count of online traffic will kiss you as incredible success.
